Cookie & Storage Policy

The short version

North Playfair relies on your browser's local storage to remember a few settings and your virtual coin balances. We do not run advertising cookies and we don't use third-party tracking. There's no analytics tag at the time of this update.

What we store

Each entry below is a key in your browser's localStorage:

• northplayfair_age_verified — Stores your age confirmation so the gate is not shown again on this device.
• northplayfair_storage_choice — Stores your choice for the browser-storage notice.
• northplayfair_sound_pref — Stores your sound on/off preference.
• northplayfair_<game>_coins — Stores your virtual coin balance for each game (no monetary value).
• northplayfair_<game>_last_daily — Stores when your last daily virtual coin refresh was claimed.
• northplayfair_<game>_progress — Stores small per-game state such as last result or hand.

Why local storage instead of cookies?

We don't need to send any of this data to a server, so cookies (which travel with every request) are unnecessary. Local storage keeps everything on your device.

How to delete your local data

• Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → choose “Cookies and other site data” for our domain.
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search for our domain → Remove.
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for our domain → Remove.

Clearing local data resets your virtual coin balances, your age confirmation and your storage choice.

Future changes

If we introduce analytics or any third-party storage in the future, we will update this policy and present the storage notice again so you can re-confirm your choice.
