A free social gaming hub, simply explained

1. Confirm you're an adult

On your first visit you'll see an age gate. You confirm you meet the age of majority in your province or territory (19+ where applicable) and acknowledge that all games use virtual coins only. Your confirmation is stored in your browser so you don't see the gate again.

2. Accept the browser-storage notice

We don't need an account, an email or a password. Instead, we use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences and virtual coin balance. You choose between “Accept all” or “Essential only”.

3. Pick a game and play

You can play any of three original games right away:

• Trapline 21 — blackjack-style cards: hit, stand or double against the dealer
• Lantern Scratch — 3×3 scratch card with cabin and lantern symbols
• Inukshuk Roll — two-dice game with simple Low / High / Even / Odd / Lucky Seven bets

4. Use your virtual coins

Every game starts you with 1,000 virtual coins. Coins:

• have no real-world monetary value
• cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged
• are stored only in your browser
• refresh once a day if your balance is low

5. What gets saved (and where)

Everything is stored locally on your device using localStorage. We don't send game data to a server.

• northplayfair_age_verified — Stores your age confirmation so the gate is not shown again on this device.
• northplayfair_storage_choice — Stores your choice for the browser-storage notice.
• northplayfair_sound_pref — Stores your sound on/off preference.
• northplayfair_<game>_coins — Stores your virtual coin balance for each game (no monetary value).
• northplayfair_<game>_last_daily — Stores when your last daily virtual coin refresh was claimed.
• northplayfair_<game>_progress — Stores small per-game state such as last result or hand.

6. What this is — and isn't

North Playfair is a free social gaming hub for entertainment only. It is not a real-money casino, sportsbook, betting site, iGaming operator or financial product. There are no deposits, withdrawals, cash prizes or jackpots in money.
